North County Democratic Unity is the action wing of the Democratic Party in North San Diego County, California.  We aggregate the political contributions of local North County political organizations and clubs and focus them on supporting Democratic candidates, issues and growing Democratic influence in North County.

North County Democratic Unity is composed of two PAC’s: the North County Democratic Unity PAC, a Federal Multi-Candidate PAC that receives contributions from individuals and other PAC’s; and the Democratic Action Coalition of North County, a California state PAC that receives contributions from individuals, corporation and Unions.

North County Democratic Unity is open to all San Diego Democratic political organizations.  By pooling the resources of many organizations, North County Democratic Unity is able to attract interest in San Diego candidates and issues from the State and National Party, attract national PAC money to support our local candidates, and help lead a coordinated and cohesive effort to get our candidates elected.

We have four main goals for the 2010 election cycle:

• Support Democratic youth in North County by assist with recruiting events and scholarships;
  
• Indirect candidate support through independent expenditures and candidate training;
  
• GOTV / Go Team Support / Voter Registration to assist in areas as requested by local community coordinators; and
  
• Fundraising for a possible January 2010 permanent democratic office and fundraising for an inland and coastal election cycle offices.
